The BMBF Project MR-HIFU-Pancreas aims to develop MR-guided HIFU for treatment of pancreatic cancer. The project includes a preclinical safety studies in pigs followed by a clinical trial with a first in man study of 30 patients. In this project Soluxx is responsible for the fabrication of an electronic impedance matching circuitry for ultrasound transducers and the design and fabrication of measurement equipment for acoustic measurements (acoustic field, acoustic power).
